Renowned Kenyan rap group Wakadinali has officially expanded its retail business after opening a new Rong Liquor store in Embakasi, marking another milestone in the collective’s growing commercial empire.

The Embakasi outlet becomes the second Rong Liquor branch, following the success of the group’s first store in Utawala, which has enjoyed strong support from fans and residents since its launch.

The expansion highlights Wakadinali’s deliberate move to translate their musical success and street credibility into sustainable business ventures, strengthening their footprint in Nairobi’s eastern neighborhoods.

By establishing outlets in both Utawala and Embakasi, the Rong Rende collective is leveraging its deep connection with urban youth culture to build a brand that goes beyond music. The move reflects a broader trend of Kenyan artists diversifying income streams while maintaining authenticity with their core fan base.

Wakadinali’s growing retail presence underscores their ambition to scale their brand across the city, positioning Rong Liquor as a recognizable name within Nairobi’s nightlife and entertainment scene.
