Police Probe Death of Casual Labourer Found Floating in Makueni Earth Dam

Police in Mbooni East, Makueni County, have launched investigations into the death of a 56-year-old man whose body was found floating in an earth dam on Saturday.

According to a police report, the body of Boniace Mwinzi was discovered at Kwa Barak Mwanthi Earth Dam at around 12:30 p.m.

Body Found Floating in Earth Dam

Police officers visited the scene, documented the incident, and processed the area as part of the ongoing investigation.

Preliminary findings established that the deceased was a casual labourer working at a nearby farm.

Post-Mortem to Establish Cause of Death

After processing the scene, officers transferred the body to the Makueni County Referral Hospital Mortuary, where a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

Police said investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
