Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has assured the mother of Brian Odhiambo, a youth who went missing while fishing in Lake Nakuru, that the government will account for his whereabouts.
Murkomen’s pledge came after the distraught mother interrupted his speech in Nakuru’s Shabab area, pleading for intervention. Responding to her concerns, the CS stated, “I have assured Auma that I will follow up on the matter and that the government will do everything possible to account for her son’s whereabouts.”
Odhiambo, 31, disappeared on January 18 under mysterious circumstances. His mother and other eyewitnesses claim he was arrested and forcibly taken away in a vehicle. His fate remains unknown as investigations continue.
