Police in Rabai Sub-County are investigating a sudden death after a caretaker was found lifeless at a poultry farm under unclear circumstances.

Body Discovered on Mattress

The deceased, identified as Saha Mkoma Tsama, was discovered lying unresponsive on a mattress at the farm.

According to police, the incident was reported on April 19, 2026, at around 10:56 a.m., after neighbours raised alarm over unusual silence at the premises.

No Signs of Foul Play

Officers who visited the scene noted that the body had no visible physical injuries, and there were no immediate indications of foul play.

The case has been classified as a sudden death pending further inquiries.

Community Concern

Neighbours reportedly became concerned after failing to see or hear from the caretaker for an extended period, prompting them to check on him—only to find him unresponsive.

Burial Arrangements

The body was later released to the family for burial in line with Islamic rites.

Investigations Ongoing

Authorities say investigations are ongoing to establish the exact cause of death, even as preliminary findings point to a non-criminal incident.

The case adds to a series of sudden death incidents reported across parts of the country, prompting calls for vigilance and timely medical checks.
